日本のすがた〈2009〉表とグラフでみる社会科資料集

今年もこの季節がやってきました。

社会を学習する上ではなくてはならない必携本です。



国語の行方(2009.02.27)

5年生になり、国語が一気に難しくなりました。

このたびの点数には、息子自身もショックを受けたようです。

そもそも、読解練習は自宅で宿題をするときに

じっくり時間をかけて取り組んでいるだけで、

時間を決めて取り組んでいる訳ではありません。

テスト形式のものをテスト以外でやったことがないのです。

(あ、学校の国語のテストはありますが、あれは別です。)

スピーディに取り組むことは二の次で、

内容把握、記述の練習を主眼に取り組んでいました。

テスト形式で時間を計ってやったほうがいいのか悩むところです。

この5年の予習シリーズでそれができるかどうか?

4年の予習シリーズならどうかなと考えています。

演習問題集は、塾では使っていませんので、

それも見てみたいと思います。


算数にばかり時間をかけていると、国語はほったらかしになりがりですが、

あまりそうも言っていられなくなりました。



第2回週例テストの結果(2009.02.26)

息子の自己申告は、相当控えめだったようです(怒)。

なんと、国語は20点台!!(100点満点ですよ?)

やってくれます〜。

あのテストで高得点を狙えるお子さんは、

すばらしい!の一言です。

解答用紙は返却されたのでなんとか満点答案を作成しましたが、

時間をかけても自力で解けない問題がありました。

国語の満点答案作成には、相当時間を割きました。

それでも唯一の救いは、漢字と国語辞典の並べ替え問題が満点だったことです。



今回は

算数>>理科>社会>>>>>国語

という点数でした。

偏差値などはまだ分かりません。

そういえば、第1回週例テストの偏差値表も

まだもらっていません。

もしかしてうちの塾ではもらえないのか??



お雛様飾りました(2009.02.23)

やっと飾ることができました〜、7段飾り。

私が飾っている間、娘は正座して見ていました。

「さわっちゃダメよ!」

と言うと、その通りにしていました。えらいわ〜。

息子はそんなことを言われようものなら絶対、

「触りたい〜!」

って思うタイプですが、娘は違うようです。


ひな壇の棚だけは先にセットしていたんですが、

お父さんが

「あまり(人形を)早く出すと、早くお嫁に行っちゃうんじゃない?」

とアホな心配をしていましたね〜。



週例テスト第2回(2009.02.21)

今日は第2回の週例テストでした。

国語と社会が時間が足りなかったと言っていました。

時間の割に解答欄が多いので、ペースを上げる必要があります。

スピードを上げるにはどんなことを工夫すれば良いのか、

今までテスト中に無意識にやっていることでも

無駄を省けることがあるんじゃないかと思います。(息子の場合)

それと、たくさんの解答欄を前にすると、少し気が焦るのかなあ?


算数はミスが命取りだということを、

5年生になって痛感しています。(私が)

ミスの多さは前回よりも目立ちます。

解答数が少ないので、1問当たりの配点が大きいです。

・・・1問の重みを感じます。(涙)


理科はまずまずだとのこと。(ミスがないわけではないらしい)

満点答案は翌午前中に仕上げます。

夜は、塾内のテストの振り返りに費やされました。



週例テスト第1回(2009.02.14)

初めての週例テストが終わりました。

週例は、340点が満点。(算国各100点、理社各70点)

Cコースで受けた算数は、クラスのほとんどが100点だったそうですが、

息子は最後の問題でつまづいていました。

きっと平均も高いでしょう。

テスト後当日中に満点答案を仕上げてから寝ました。

解き方を見ていると、最小公倍数を使って解いたほうが速いんじゃ?

と思う問題も、息子は調べ上げてから解いているようです。

しばらく見守っていきます。

ここの単元はじっくりと熟成させる必要がありそうです。

それと日歴算。基礎から復習しないといけません。


国語は問題数が多く、大変そうだ〜と思いましたが、

最後に漢字の問題が出ているので、そこを最初に取り組むようにしたと

言っていました。

詩の内容から文法を問う問題は

すべて×。

詩は息子にとってハードル高いかも。

これから慣れていくことですよね。


社会は、してやられた〜と感じた問題が1問。

細かいところまで問われています。

そこまで覚えなきゃいけないの〜、と

4年とのギャップからまだ抜けきれていません。


理科は今回一番良かったのではないでしょうか?


自己採点の結果(国語は数が多すぎて自己採点せず)は

理科>国語>算数=社会。

希望的観測も添えてます。



A3の複合機がついに我が家に!(2009.02.13)


ついに我が家にやってきました!A3インクジェットFAX複合機!!

去年の秋に発売されたと同時に注目していたんですが、

やっと我が家の一員になってくれました。

お父さん、ありがとう!!

今はアメリカにいるので、ここからお礼を言っておきます。

これがあれば、過去問コピーにコンビニ通いをしなくても済みそう!

小さい子ども連れでコンビニに行くと、私がコピーで忙しく目を離したすきに、

商品に触ったり(ちょうど子どもの目の高さに小さいアメ玉なんかがバラでおいてあったりするんですよね)、

「これ買ってぇ〜」コールがかかったりするので気が重いんですよね。

店員さんの視線も気になるし。

家みたいに大声で呼び止めるわけにもいかず。


ほんとに助かります。






組分けテストの振り返り(2009.02.09)

手元には点数と偏差値表しかありませんが、偏差値で見ると

算数>社会>国語>>理科

という結果でした。


テスト後の息子の感触と、まだまだ開きがありますので感想はなかなかアテになりません。

私も

算数>社会>国語>理科 という難易度をつけていたので、もっとアテになりませんね。



組分けテストの結果が分かりました(2009.02.07)

四谷大塚の新5年・組分けテストの点数が分かりました。
週報は、まだ届いていません。

全受験者が5008人。

息子のクラスには、Sコースの友達が4人いるようです。
(Sコースの人だけは教室に張り出してあったらしい)

息子は残念ながらあと数点のところでSコースに届きませんでした。

今回は自己採点に比べ、理科が大幅に悪かったです。

そんなこんなで

いよいよ5年生のスタートです。



学年別使用ノート(2009.02.06)

今後のために覚え書きしておきます。うちの場合です。

塾でのノート使用について


<入塾したてのころや低学年>

・算数のノート
コクヨ キャンパスノート 方眼罫の中の12mm方眼ノートを使用→少しずつ10mm方眼ノートへ移行

※面積を習うのに、この12mm方眼ノートは重宝しました。

・国語や他のノート
5mm方眼罫のノートであれば何でも




<4年生>

・算数や計算のノート
コクヨ キャンパスノート 方眼罫の中の4mm方眼罫ノートを使用

※線分図や立体の展開図を素早く書くのに重宝しました。


・算数の演習ノート
大学ノートのB罫に問題をコピーしたものを貼り、解く。


・国語のノート
15行ノートを使用

※ことばの練習帳は、5mm方眼ノートに、表と裏のページを、見開き1ページに収めるように貼って、解く(裏のページはコピーする)。だからノートは縦に開く。1年間使用できる。

※四谷大塚の国語の解答用紙は、表裏に書かれているので、ひっくり返したりする手間を省く。読解の解答用紙とことばの練習帳の解答用紙の裏返し方が違うことも、手間を2倍にしているんじゃないかと思う。

・理科や社会のノート
5mm方眼罫のノートであれば何でも



<5年生>

・算数や計算のノート
引き続きコクヨ キャンパスノート 方眼罫の中の4mm方眼罫ノートを使用

・算数の演習ノート
大学ノートのB罫に問題をコピーしたものを貼り、解く。

・国語のノート
15行ノートを使用→17行へ移行?


・理科や社会のノート
5mm方眼罫のノートであれば何でも。ノートの色は、テキストと同じものにして、パッと見て識別できるようにしておく。
